About the role
We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join a privately‑owned freight forwarder in Liverpool. The role involves tracking shipments, keeping clients informed of any changes, and ensuring smooth customs clearance. You will also book haulage with preferred suppliers, handle general customer queries and maintain accurate shipment records.
Key responsibilities
- Track shipments and update clients on cargo changes
- Ensure correct documentation is received on time for customs clearance
- Book haulage with preferred suppliers
- Deal with general customer queries
- Process bookings
- Liaise with shipping lines
Required profile
- Experience in shipping lines, freight forwarding or logistics
- Confident communicator
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
