Supply Chain Coordinator – Planning & Production

About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join a fast‑paced manufacturing business. Working closely with production, logistics, procurement and customer service, you will ensure that production plans are executed efficiently, materials are available when needed, and customer demand is met on time.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules to support customer demand.
• Monitor order requirements and adjust plans to maximise operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure capacity is utilised effectively.
• Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to manage material availability.
• Track supply chain constraints and proactively communicate potential issues.
• Analyse planning data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Update and maintain ERP system records and planning information.
• Support inventory management activities to ensure optimum stock levels.
• Liaise with customer service teams regarding order priorities and delivery requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production planning, supply chain planning, scheduling or logistics coordination.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to planning.
