Supply Chain Management Analyst

About the role

Boeing’s Sheffield fabrication site is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to synchronise supply across internal teams, global suppliers and customers. You will use Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems to analyse material requirements, create and authorise orders, and optimise inventory to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex material requirements and integrate Bills of Material and production schedules into planning systems.
• Initiate, coordinate and authorise purchase and production orders, ensuring timely execution and on‑time delivery.
• Develop and control inventory plans, setting safety stock, reorder points and days of inventory to balance service levels and costs.
• Document and resolve order delinquencies, report schedule adherence issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in inventory and process audits to maintain stock record integrity and compliance.
• Implement SCM best practices, lead cross‑functional improvement initiatives and introduce new tools.
• Support new‑business proposals with material readiness input for bids and ramp‑up planning.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, warehousing, purchasing, engineering, suppliers and customers to resolve supply issues.
• Generate and maintain performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, inventory turns and forecast accuracy.
• Assist with end‑of‑month activities and provide team coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Experience authorising and managing order releases and ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Proven ability to develop and control inventory plans.
• Strong analytical skills for material requirements and exception management.
