Supply Chain Manager – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a multinational manufacturer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure material availability, maintain stock accuracy and guarantee on‑time deliveries for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities supporting production and customer demand.
• Supervise warehouse, inventory control, shipping and logistics operations.
• Monitor stock levels, material availability and overall supply‑chain performance.
• Support supplier management and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across inventory, warehousing and logistics processes.
• Lead, coach and develop a small operational team.
• Maintain ERP/MRP system data accuracy and support related processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or manufacturing operations.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; MS Dynamics Business Central is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Based within a commutable distance of Harlow, Essex.
