Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Leader with a technical, fabrication or manufacturing background to oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations between our UK base and French factory. The role will manage international logistics, demand planning and a remote team of six professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own demand planning and materials forecasting, translating client roll‑out schedules into clear material requirements.
• Lead Master Production Scheduling reviews to align factory capacity with project spikes.
• Assess lead times, seasonal disruptions and market trends to establish safety stock buffers for critical components.
• Take full accountability for UK and international inventory, coordinating quarterly stock counts and reconciling physical stock with ERP data.
• Manage import and export operations, optimise warehousing, inventory positioning and final‑mile delivery to deployment sites.
• Mentor and develop a fully remote team of six supply chain and logistics professionals, setting performance KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years recent experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics assembly or technical hardware production.
• Demonstrable expertise in demand planning, materials forecasting and master scheduling within a project‑led business.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems for material planning and stock control.
• Proven ability to lead and engage a remote workforce.
• Excellent collaboration with project managers and sales teams to anticipate deployment changes.
