Supply Chain Manager – Strategic Planning & Operations

About the role

Butler Rose is partnering with a fast‑growing international manufacturing business to hire a Supply Chain Manager. This senior‑level role will shape and build supply‑chain processes, systems and governance as the company expands its distribution network across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated demand‑and‑supply planning processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Design and implement scalable supply‑chain processes, systems and reporting for an international operation.
• Establish inventory strategies and stock policies across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution sites.
• Partner with operations teams to create capacity models, identify constraints and improve throughput.
• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing a single version of the truth for commercial, operational and financial stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers and warehousing partners to ensure reliable delivery performance.
• Support the set‑up and onboarding of new distribution centres throughout Europe.
• Drive standardisation of supply‑chain practices across multiple sites and business units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain management within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Track record of leading S&OP processes and implementing scalable supply‑chain solutions.
• Experience working with international, multi‑site operations and new distribution centre roll‑outs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop capacity models and optimise inventory.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, reporting to senior leadership.
