Supply Chain Manager – Supplier Relationship

About the role

SSE is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead supplier relationship activities within its Procurement and Commercial function. The role supports the delivery of large infrastructure projects across the Networks Transmission business, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key supply‑chain companies and implement engagement strategies.
• Coordinate communication and interaction with the supply chain to ensure clear information flow.
• Enhance supply‑chain resilience by analysing skills, resources, sub‑supply‑chain capacity and other critical data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and utilise data sources for measurable performance feedback.

Required profile

• Knowledge of procurement and commercial management for large infrastructure projects.
• Excellent organisation and planning abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Experience ensuring accurate data exchange across multiple platforms and reporting tools.
