Supply Chain Manager – Technical Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain activities for a technical manufacturing operation. The role will coordinate international logistics between our French factory and UK base, and manage a fully remote team of six supply‑chain professionals. You will be responsible for demand planning, inventory control and ensuring timely delivery of components for assembly projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own the demand planning model, translating client roll‑out schedules into clear material requirements.
• Lead Master Production Scheduling reviews to align factory capacity with project spikes.
• Take full accountability for UK and international stock levels, conducting quarterly physical counts and reconciling with ERP data.
• Manage import and export operations between the UK and continental Europe, optimizing warehousing and final‑mile delivery.
• Mentor and develop a remote team of six supply‑chain and logistics professionals, setting performance KPIs.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to anticipate changes in deployment velocity.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years recent experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics assembly or technical hardware production.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, materials forecasting and master scheduling.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and import/export logistics.
• Proven ability to lead and engage a fully remote workforce.
• Experience using ERP systems for material planning and inventory control.
