Supply Chain Planner – Temp to Perm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a client in Rochdale. The role focuses on demand forecasting, stock optimisation and supplier management within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer forecasts continuously and recommend adjustments.
• Drive efficiencies across the product portfolio and promote best practices.
• Maintain strong inter‑departmental and customer relationships.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure high product availability.
• Oversee site space while meeting depth‑of‑stock targets.
• Implement inventory optimisation and supply‑chain solutions.

Required profile

• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of supply‑chain managerial experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Proven knowledge of supply‑chain systems and processes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaborative solutions.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capability.
• Experience in customer collaboration, forecasting and stock optimisation.

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
