Supply Primary Teacher – Flexible School Placements

About the role

Reed Education is building a talent pool of primary supply teachers for the upcoming September term. The role offers short‑term placements across KS1 and KS2 classrooms, allowing you to work in schools close to Gillingham while gaining varied experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
• Provide targeted support as a PPA (Pupil Premium) or Intervention teacher where needed.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience or willingness to teach KS1/KS2 pupils.
• Flexibility to take assignments on short notice.
• Commitment to professional standards and safeguarding policies.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learner needs.
