Supply Primary Teacher - South Croydon

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified Primary Teachers to provide short‑term cover for schools across South Croydon and surrounding areas. The role starts as soon as possible, covering the Summer term and continuing into September 2026. You will work on‑site in primary schools, travelling within the borough of Sutton.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using the absent teacher’s lesson plans.
• Supervise and engage pupils during lessons, breaks, lunch, detention and other routines.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.
• Take registers, attend assemblies and perform other day‑to‑day duties of the permanent teacher.
• Maintain a safe learning environment and follow safety and safeguarding protocols.

Required profile

• Qualified Primary trained teacher with QTS (open to Early Career Teachers and experienced staff).
• Flexible, adaptable and able to travel across South Croydon, Whyteleafe, Caterham, Warlingham and surrounding areas.
• Available to start immediately for short‑term or part‑time contracts.
