Supply Reception Teacher – Chatham (Full‑Time/Part‑Time)

About the role

Join primary schools in Chatham as a Reception Teacher, helping children take their first steps into education. You will create a supportive, play‑based learning environment that builds confidence, social skills, and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere for Reception pupils.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through engaging, play‑based activities.
• Support children’s academic, social and emotional development and help them reach early learning milestones.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging learning environments.
• Passion for early‑years development and a nurturing, enthusiastic approach.
