Supply Reception Teacher – Immediate Start in Deal

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Reception Teachers to join primary schools in Deal on a supply basis. The role is immediate start, full‑time and can be long‑term or day‑to‑day supply, providing children with a strong start to their education.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging and stimulating classroom environment for Reception pupils.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering social, emotional and academic development.
• Plan and implement child‑centred learning activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
• Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Passion for early childhood development and a nurturing approach.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver engaging, child‑centred lessons.
• Effective classroom management.
• Strong communication with pupils, parents and staff.
