Supply SEN Teacher – Primary Schools (Temporary)

About the role
Reed is seeking a passionate SEN supply teacher to support primary schools across Croydon on a temporary, long‑term basis. You will step into classrooms when regular teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain classroom routines in the regular teacher’s absence.
- Manage behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with students and staff.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback during short‑term placements.
Required profile
- Qualified with PGCE, QTS, or HLTA Level 4.
- Experience working with primary‑school students, preferably with SEN experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on short notice across multiple schools.
