Supply Teacher – Burnley

About the role

Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is seeking supply teachers for primary and secondary schools in the Burnley area. The role can be part‑time or full‑time, with a minimum commitment of two days per week and the ability to travel locally.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across EYFS, Key Stages 1‑5 as required by the school.
• Support pupils in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
• Maintain accurate records, spelling and grammar in all communications.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Recent experience in primary, secondary or SEN settings and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Experience in any of EYFS, Key Stage 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
• Commitment to professional development and a passion for working with children.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding.
