Supply Teacher – East Sussex

About the role
Reed is seeking qualified supply teachers to support schools across East Sussex. The role is ideal for educators who can commit to at least two days a week, with the flexibility to increase to five days. You will be placed in different schools, delivering the national curriculum and adapting quickly to varied classroom environments.
Key responsibilities
- Attend early morning briefings (typically at 7 am) to receive daily assignments.
- Teach assigned classes, delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide feedback on student progress and attend required school meetings.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to suit the needs of each school and student group.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple schools and adjust to different timetables.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and high educational standards.
