About the role

Reed is seeking qualified Supply Teachers to cover assignments across schools in East Sussex. The position offers a flexible daily rate and can be taken on a part‑time or full‑time basis, with a minimum commitment of two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Attend early morning briefings (typically at 7 am) to receive daily assignment details.
• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in a variety of classroom settings.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student progress and attend required school meetings.
• Adapt quickly to different school cultures and student needs.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple schools and adjust to varying timetables.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
