About the role

Reed Education is seeking adaptable and reliable supply teachers to support multi‑academy trusts across Plymouth and surrounding areas. The role offers flexibility, variety and strong support without long‑term commitments, ideal for teachers who enjoy a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, often using provided lesson plans.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom routines and school policies.
• Manage behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Mark basic work where required and uphold high standards of classroom practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with recent UK primary experience.
• Strong behaviour management skills and thorough curriculum knowledge.
• Positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to travel to schools in Plymouth and surrounding areas.
