Supply Teacher – Flexible Daily Rates

About the role
Reed is seeking qualified supply teachers to cover assignments across schools in East Sussex. The role is ideal for educators who can commit to a minimum of two days per week, with the possibility of extending to five days and moving into longer‑term or permanent placements.
Key responsibilities
- Attend a brief 7 am call to receive daily assignment details.
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in a variety of classroom settings.
- Maintain effective classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback on student progress and participate in required school meetings.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for continuous professional development.
