Supply Teacher – Flexible Days in Horsham

About the role

We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic teachers to provide supply cover across schools in Horsham and the wider South East. The role offers flexible day‑to‑day or longer‑term assignments for the 2023‑2024 academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity in the assigned classroom.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.
• Collaborate with class teachers and senior leadership to ensure smooth handover.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and subject requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Current DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Flexibility to work in a range of schools, minimum three days per week.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and behaviour‑management techniques.
• Effective communication with staff, students and senior leadership.
• Ability to teach core subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Humanities, PE or MFL.
