Supply Teacher – Full‑time Primary (Cheltenham)

About the role

We are supporting primary schools in Cheltenham with a full‑time supply teaching cover for the upcoming academic year. The position starts as soon as possible and runs term‑time only, finishing at the end of the school year. It offers the chance to work across several local primary schools, build relationships with staff and pupils, and may lead to longer‑term supply or permanent contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of learning by delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons and adapting instruction to meet pupils’ needs.
• Support children’s development throughout the day and utilise effective behaviour‑management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, monitor pupil progress, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• At least five years of recent experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated good behaviour‑management skills and the ability to maintain classroom discipline.
• Patient, resilient, and capable of building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Committed to helping children thrive and delivering high‑quality learning outcomes.
