About the role
We are looking for a compassionate, qualified supply teacher to provide full‑time, term‑time cover in primary schools across Cheltenham. The role starts in September 2026 and runs for the academic year, offering the chance to work in a variety of classroom settings.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the day.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safety.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different schools and student needs.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Relevant experience working with children within the last five years.
- Strong behaviour‑management abilities.
- Patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality learning experiences.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and delivery.
