About the role

Educated Recruitment Limited is seeking qualified Primary teachers to provide supply cover across Exeter and surrounding schools. The role offers flexible, short‑term or long‑term assignments, allowing you to gain experience in a variety of educational settings while maintaining a work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned cover lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Mark student work and provide constructive feedback as required.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth handover and continuity.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) – other teaching backgrounds welcome.
• Current DBS check or Update Service subscription (agency can arrange).
• Minimum three‑year reference history.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the national curriculum.
• Reliability, strong communication skills, and ability to commute to Exeter.
