Supply Teacher – Primary School

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join the Plymouth Cast Trust bank of staff. You will step in for absent teachers at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Primary School, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils across various year groups.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching in line with the school curriculum and policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions during teacher absence.
- Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate students.
- Flexibility, resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
