Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (Enfield)

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced daily supply teachers to cover primary classes across Enfield. You will work on a short‑term, day‑to‑day basis, stepping into classrooms from Nursery through Year 6 and delivering high‑quality, purposeful cover.

Key responsibilities

• Step into primary classrooms at short notice and deliver the planned lessons.
• Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations from the moment you arrive.
• Follow existing teaching plans and adapt them where necessary to ensure continuity of learning.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupils and address any immediate concerns.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching across primary year groups, from EYFS to Year 6.
• Ability to remain calm and confident in unfamiliar classroom environments.
• Strong communication skills for working with diverse staff teams.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Current safeguarding knowledge.
