About the role

Educated Recruitment Limited is seeking enthusiastic Primary School teachers to provide supply cover across Penzance and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time assignments, ranging from short‑term day‑to‑day cover to longer‑term placements in a variety of school settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and cover classes as required.
• Follow each school’s safeguarding and policy procedures.
• Mark student work and provide feedback when needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Current DBS check or subscription to the Update Service.
• Minimum three‑year reference history.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commute to Penzance.

Required skills

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
