About the role
Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Chatham to provide day‑to‑day and short‑term supply teaching cover for Key Stages 1 and 2. The role starts immediately and offers flexible assignments that fit around your personal schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for pupils in Years 1‑4.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Ensure continuity of learning and progress during staff absences.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in a primary education setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Professionalism, enthusiasm and flexibility for each assignment.
