Supply Teacher – Primary & Secondary (Lancaster)

About the role

Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is seeking supply teachers for primary and secondary schools in the Lancaster area. The role can be part‑time or full‑time, with a minimum commitment of two days per week and the flexibility to travel across local schools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for EYFS, Key Stages 1‑5.
• Provide consistent, high‑quality teaching and support to pupils.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments and reports.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including SEN pupils.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Recent experience in primary, secondary or SEN settings.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum across relevant key stages.
• Commitment to professional development and a passion for working with children.
• Strong dedication to safeguarding and child welfare.
