Supply Teacher – Primary & Secondary (St Albans)

About the role

We are seeking qualified supply teachers to provide short‑term cover across a range of Good to Outstanding Ofsted‑rated primary and secondary schools in St Albans. The role offers flexible, day‑by‑day assignments, allowing you to choose when and where you work while maintaining continuity of learning for pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons to primary or secondary students across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create an engaging learning environment.
• Provide constructive feedback, mark work and follow each school’s policies.
• Adapt quickly to different subjects, year groups and school cultures.
• Uphold the ethos and values of each host school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Positive attitude and flexibility in teaching approach.
