Supply Teacher – Return to Teaching

About the role
Reed is seeking enthusiastic supply teachers to re‑enter the classroom in Maidstone and the wider South East England region. This temporary, full‑time role offers the chance to support schools with short‑term cover while rediscovering your passion for teaching.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum across a range of subjects.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Adapt lesson plans to suit diverse student needs and school policies.
- Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to senior staff.
- Collaborate with permanent teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching certification.
- Previous classroom experience, even if you have been away from teaching for a period.
