Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (Bristol)

About the role

We are looking for experienced secondary teachers to join a range of reputable schools in Bristol on a supply basis. The role covers both part‑time and full‑time availability during regular school hours (08:30‑15:30) and offers flexible weekly scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the curriculum to pupils of varying ages and abilities.
• Use assessment data to implement strategies that raise pupil achievement.
• Manage classroom assistants (HLTAAs/LSAs) where applicable.
• Promote pupil participation in academic and social activities.
• Support behaviour management and contribute to students' social‑emotional development.
• Follow all school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience of teaching in a secondary setting, in any capacity.
• Ability to work between 08:30 and 15:30 on school days during term time.
• Flexibility to adjust availability week by week.

Required skills

• Knowledge of assessment data analysis.
• Experience managing classroom assistants.
