Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (Dover)

About the role
We are looking for supply teachers to provide short‑term and longer‑term cover in secondary schools across Dover and East Kent. The role offers flexibility to work when it suits you while delivering high‑quality education to pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons using the school’s existing plans and resources.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations.
- Support pupils with their learning and provide individual assistance.
- Maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Provide feedback to the relevant member of staff after each placement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching secondary‑aged pupils.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to different school settings.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality education.
