Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (East London)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic supply teachers to cover daily assignments in secondary schools across Redbridge and East London. The role is open to both early‑career teachers and experienced educators who can adapt quickly to different classroom settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups.
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and student engagement.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit the specific needs of each school.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and school procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE, EYTS, etc.).
• Previous experience in UK schools is preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references.

Required skills

• Strong classroom behaviour management.
• Ability to engage students across diverse subjects.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding knowledge (desirable).
