Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools in North London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified supply teachers to deliver lessons in secondary schools across North London. The role offers flexible day‑to‑day cover as well as the possibility of longer‑term assignments, working with pupils from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain effective classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
• Provide cover for whole‑day, half‑day or individual lesson assignments as required.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners, including SEND pupils.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check.
• Two professional references related to working with children.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and behaviour management techniques.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding knowledge (desirable).
