Supply Teacher – Secondary (Temporary)

About the role

Reed Education is seeking qualified secondary teachers to join its talent pool for supply work across schools in the South East. This temporary, full‑time role offers the flexibility to teach a variety of subjects on a day‑to‑day basis, helping schools maintain continuity during staff absences or special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons to secondary students on assigned days.
• Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring minimal disruption to learning.
• Support intervention and catch‑up programmes where required.
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent for secondary education.
• Experience teaching at secondary level across any subject specialism.
• Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different school settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
