Supply Teacher – Tower Hamlets, East London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for flexible and enthusiastic supply teachers to cover daily assignments across secondary schools in Tower Hamlets and East London. The role is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced staff and can start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across a range of subjects and year groups on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and school procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, EYTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience in a UK school setting.
• Strong behaviour management abilities.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Two professional references.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills are required beyond the teaching qualifications and safeguarding knowledge.
