Supply Teacher – Year 4 – Tunbridge Wells

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with primary schools in Tunbridge Wells to recruit enthusiastic Year 4 teachers for both long‑term and day‑to‑day supply assignments. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering confidence, independence and resilience as they progress towards Upper Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 4 classes.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports academic, social and emotional development.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high standards of student engagement.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.

Required profile

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
• Experience teaching in primary education, preferably at Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to the progress and wellbeing of every pupil.
• Enthusiastic, creative and positive approach to teaching.
