Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time Role

About the role

We are looking for supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils across schools in The Heath Trust. The role is flexible and part‑time, allowing you to work when you are available while gaining experience in a multi‑academy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils during lessons.
• Assist teachers with delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH, where required.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above preferred.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through The Supply Register.
