Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible Roles in Rossendale

About the role

We are recruiting supply Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary schools across Rossendale from September 2026. The role offers flexible, short‑term or long‑term placements, allowing you to gain valuable classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day supply cover for primary classrooms.
• Undertake short‑term assignments and longer‑term placements as needed.
• Offer general classroom support, 1:1 pupil assistance and SEN support.
• Assist teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curricula.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar environment.
• Adaptable, reliable and professional attitude.
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Positive, proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Availability for flexible or longer‑term work.
