Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible School Support

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join a pool supporting secondary schools within the Mersey View Learning Trust. The role offers flexible, short‑term or long‑term assignments across several schools, allowing you to make a real difference to pupils’ learning.
Key responsibilities
- Support individual pupils or small groups with their learning activities.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
- Provide targeted help for pupils with SEND where required.
- Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred).
- Positive, proactive and flexible attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
