Support and Development Worker – Part‑Time (20‑34 hrs/week)

About the role

Join a dedicated team providing supported accommodation for care leavers aged 16‑18. As a Support and Development Worker you will help young people build independence, develop life‑skills and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to residents in a supported accommodation setting.
• Promote independence, personal growth and life‑skills development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, external agencies and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records, complete reports and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Work independently (lone working) and manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Required profile

• Resilient, reliable and highly motivated.
• Able to follow direction while using initiative and creativity in problem‑solving.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational and report‑writing abilities.
