Support Team Lead / Manager – £50K

About the role

This permanent, home‑based position leads a small technical support team delivering SaaS customer service across QA, product and development functions. The role combines incident management, problem resolution and team leadership, with regular travel to the South Coast for management meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3‑4 support engineers, overseeing incident triage and resolution.
• Coordinate with QA, product and software development teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Manage day‑to‑day support operations, including ticket handling in JIRA and adherence to best‑practice processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical support procedures and reporting.
• Attend monthly on‑site meetings on the South Coast and represent the team in cross‑functional forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading or managing a technical support team.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Comfortable working in a SaaS environment and collaborating across IT functions.
• Based in the South West, South East or M4 corridor and willing to travel regularly.
