About the role
The Support Trader will join a quantitative hedge fund that trades equities, crypto and futures on a mid‑frequency basis. You will help ensure smooth trading operations, manage risk exposure and contribute to the automation of monitoring tools.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor market‑making activities and exposures across multiple asset classes.
- Provide 24/7 incident response and operational lifecycle support on rotating shifts.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to streamline trade oversight and risk reporting.
- Collaborate with traders and engineers to improve workflow efficiency.
- Assist in risk management and trade reconciliation processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a trader or support‑trader environment.
- Familiarity with market‑making monitoring and exposure management.
- Willingness to work shift patterns covering global markets.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- KDB/q database proficiency.
