About the role
Join Turning Point’s 24‑hour supported living team in Gloucester, providing person‑centred care for adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will work in a vibrant community setting, helping residents live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Promote independence by supporting daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and shopping.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration and manual handling where required.
- Organise and accompany residents on outings, holidays and community activities.
- Develop and encourage residents’ life‑skills and personal interests.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring requirements.
Required profile
- Passionate, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
- Flexible, patient and non‑judgemental approach.
- Strong team player with high energy levels.
- Good communication skills and ability to manage anxiety in residents.
- Valid driver’s licence (must be able to drive for the role).
