Support Worker – Adult Care (Full/Part Time)

About the role

As a Support Worker at Avenues Group you will help adults with Down syndrome and autism live active, independent and fulfilling lives. Based in Tonbridge, you will join a friendly team that values person‑centred care and offers full training and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Support individuals to achieve personal goals and maintain independence.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, community activities and social events.
• Assist with managing finances, shopping, and household tasks.
• Provide dignified, person‑centred personal care when needed.
• Help maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Celebrate achievements and create meaningful daily moments.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable and eager to learn.
• Enthusiastic about working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible full‑time or part‑time patterns.
