Support Worker – Adult Care (Sevenoaks)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Sevenoaks residential service, providing person‑centred care for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, communication challenges and end‑of‑life needs. Working 39 hours per week, you will help individuals live independently and enjoy everyday activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support and empower service users to achieve maximum independence and participate in meaningful activities.
• Facilitate social connections with family, friends and the local community to reduce isolation.
• Assist with personal finance management, household tasks and accompany users on shopping trips.
• Deliver dignified, person‑centred personal care respecting individual preferences.
• Promote wellbeing by creating joyful and rewarding experiences for service users.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
• Passionate, people‑focused attitude with a desire to make a positive difference.
• Ability to work flexibly within a 39‑hour full‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Safe driving skills and valid UK licence.
