Support Worker – Adults with Learning Disabilities

About the role

Join Creative Support’s friendly team in South Shields to help adults with learning disabilities lead full, fun, and active lives. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support for your development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred care and support to help clients achieve personal goals.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration and daily living tasks.
• Support clients to attend appointments, plan and prepare meals, and engage in community activities.
• Organise and accompany clients on outings, events and local social opportunities.

Required profile

• Warm, caring attitude with unconditional positive regard for those you support.
• Ability to follow agreed guidelines and work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Minimum two years driving experience and a full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Positive communication and engagement skills.
