Support Worker – Brightlingsea

About the role
Join Consensus as a Support Worker in Brightlingsea, providing dedicated care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will help residents live independently in a supportive, community‑focused environment while developing your own skills and career.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, personal care and home maintenance.
- Support individuals to engage in community, leisure and social activities.
- Facilitate communication, adapting approaches to each person’s needs.
- Encourage participation in meaningful opportunities and celebrate special occasions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver person‑centred care.
Required profile
- Values aligned with person‑centred care; experience optional – new entrants welcome.
- Background in mental health support, care work, healthcare assistance or similar roles is beneficial.
- Successful completion of a free DBS check.
- Availability for rotational shifts totalling 37.5 hours per week.
