Support Worker – Camden (Full‑time)

About the role

You will work in one of Riverside’s supported services in Camden, providing practical and emotional assistance to vulnerable customers as they rebuild their lives. The role involves linking clients with employability coaches, benefits advice, financial management support and helping them move into permanent housing.

Key responsibilities

• Connect customers with employability coaches and other support agencies.
• Assist clients with money management, benefits registration and housing transitions.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Provide day‑to‑day emotional support and confidence‑building encouragement.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional lone‑working, following a 5‑day rota.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Caring, empathetic nature with a resilient, can‑do attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle lone‑working situations.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, which may include personal lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
• Willingness to work flexible, non‑standard hours.
