Support Worker – Care Assistant Role (Female)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, fun‑loving female Support Worker to join Community Integrated Care, one of the UK’s largest health and social‑care charities. You will provide person‑centred assistance to individuals with learning disabilities and mobility challenges, helping them enjoy daily activities and maintain independence.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.
• Accompany individuals on outings such as lunches, picnics, art groups, swimming, and social events.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and new activities, tailoring support to each person’s preferences.
• Spend entire shifts with one client to build strong, trusting relationships.
• Work flexible day shifts (8 am‑10 pm) and overnight “sleep‑over” shifts as required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, caring, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work varied days, including weekends.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of supporting people with learning disabilities and mobility issues.
